Keto Reboot System - eBook

Introduction

“Keto is more than a diet. It’s a lifestyle.”

Welcome to the Keto Reboot System! In this book, we’ll discuss what the keto diet is, what you can eat to ramp up your metabolism, burn fat, and lose weight, along with practical tips to make your keto cleanse a lifestyle change for lasting success.

If you picked up this ebook, you’re likely looking for a better way to lose weight and eat healthy aside from the other diets and regimes you’ve tried in the past. You might be frustrated with the lack of progress or you’re interested in eating foods that better fit your tastes. If you follow the Keto Reboot System, you will emerge wiser and healthier, with a confidence gained from the tips in this program.

What is the Keto Diet?

The ketogenic diet, better known as the keto diet, is a low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet that helps you burn fat more effectively. The keto diet includes moderate amounts of protein intake due to the lower carbohydrate (carb) intake.

Typically, this amounts to less than 50 grams of carbs per day and can be as low as 20 grams per day. In chapter three, we break down the macronutrient percentages so you know exactly how much protein, carbs, and fat you should consume on the keto diet.

Who is the Keto Diet for?

The keto diet is great for people who are overweight or obese and looking to lose weight, those who are diabetic or looking to improve their metabolic health, and those who have tried and failed other diets. The keto diet is safe and practical for those who exercise regularly, however, it might not be suitable for elite athletes who want to add a large amount of muscle mass or weight.

Following the keto diet has been proven to boost metabolism and burn fat in people of all ages. In order to reap the benefits of the keto reboot, you need to be consistent and disciplined. Only doing the keto diet a couple days out of the week or letting weeks pass between following this regime will not allow your body to remain in ketosis and stay effectively in fat burning mode.

The keto diet is not only helpful for weight loss and burning fat, but it can help manage a myriad of health conditions we’ll discuss in the first chapter. However, please consult your doctor before starting the keto diet if you are breastfeeding, are taking medication (insulin) for type 1 diabetes, or are taking medication for high blood pressure.

How is the Keto Diet different from other diets?

The keto diet is different from other diets because of the high fat and low carb ratio. This regime brings your body into a state of ketosis like no other diet can. The paleo diet allows people to consume certain high starch foods like sweet potatoes and higher carb fruits. The Atkins diet is a lower carb diet but does not have the evidence of lowering heart disease and other health benefits like the keto diet.

Once your body gets used to the state of ketosis, it’s easy to maintain this diet. Research has found people have less hunger and cravings when following this plan.

So what are we waiting for? Let’s get started!
